Abstract
Thin targets of the monoisotopic elements vanadium and scandium were bombarded with magnetically resolved protons at energies up to about 4 Mev. The neutron and gamma-ray yields were measured as functions of the proton energy. In each case a number of maxima are observed in the yield curves, presumably corresponding to excited states in the compound nucleus.Keywords
