Computer Nutrient Analysis Software Packages

Abstract
Computers first influenced the use of nutrient data in the late 1950s. Until about 10 years ago, the use of computers to manipulate nutrient data was limited primarily to researchers with access to multi-million dollar mainframe computers. With the advent of the remarkably powerful and sophisticated microcomputer, computer use has become widespread and affordable. The microcomputer has brought computerized nutrient analysis within the reach of virtually everyone.
