Intraepithelial atypical lymphocytes in oral lesions of Behcet's syndrome

Abstract

Atypical lymphocytes with deep nuclear indentations, identical to those observed in Sezary syndrome and mycosis fungoides, were demonstrated by EM in the oral epithelium prickle-cell layer of patients with Behcet''s syndrome. Many of these cells were present in association with macrophages.
