Abstract
Estrogenic activity approx. equal in amt. to that found in bovine and human pregnancy blood was found in bovine colostrum. The estrogens occur mainly as conjugates in the aqueous phase of colostrum and are partly ketonic. The conjugated estrogens of separated colostrum from one cow were equivalent to 5.2 [mu]g. estradiol-17 [beta]/l.Keywords
