Transvenous Removal of Catheter Fragments From the Heart and Pulmonary Artery

Abstract
Two patients had successful removal of catheter emboli from the heart and pulmonary arteries by the transvenous route. Emboli of catheter fragments are common, and transvenous techniques for removal of these emboli are reviewed. These techniques are simple and safe and could be used in most cardiovascular laboratories.
