Abstract
Amplitude and polarization characteristics of the light reflected and passed through crystals are found. Four mechanisms of polarization-ellipse nonlinear optical rotation and deformation are studied. A new scheme of nonlinear polarization spectroscopy of uniaxial and cubic crystals is put forward. Keywords
