Abstract
The occurrence of multiple miliary osteomas of the skin was investigated by radiographic methods on 2089 individuals and observed in 45 persons (2.2%), 27 (60%) of whom were male and 18 (40%) female. Average age of cases was 55 years. More detailed clinical and radiographic analyses of miliary osteomas were conducted on 25 individuals. It was observed that miliary osteomas occurred in both skin of chin and cheek areas bilaterally. It is suggested that the occurrence of miliary osteomas might be more frequent than previously considered and is a consequence of the aging process. Keywords
