Histokompatibilit tsantigene (HLA-Antigene) und Offenwinkel-Glaukom

Abstract
In 41 patients with open-angle glaucoma and 450 healthy, unrelated controls of identical ethnic origin the frequencies of 36 HLA antigens were determined using the microlymphocytotoxicity test. In contrast to recent publications it was not possible to confirm a significant difference in the incidence of the antigens in both groups. The possible reasons for this difference are discussed. Bei 41 Patienten mit Offenwinkel-Glaukom und bei 450 gesunden, nicht verwandten Kontrollpersonen mit übereinstimmendem ethnischem Ursprung wurden mit Hilfe des mikrolymphocytotoxischen Tests die Frequenzen von 36 HLA-Antigenen bestimmt. Im Gegensatz zu früheren Publikationen konnte jedoch kein signifikanter Unterschied in der Häufigkeit des Auftretens der Antigene in beiden Gruppen gefunden werden. Die möglichen Ursachen für diese Diskrepanz werden diskutiert.
