Abstract
This paper discusses sexual fetishism as a factor contributing to sexual dysfunction. Help-seeking is triggered by the effects of the fetishistic desires and related behaviours on normal sexual functioning. The paper discusses the nature and management of these problems. Clinical case material is provided to illustrate some of the ways in which fetishism manifests as a clinical problem in this context. A treatment approach is described, which draws upon several techniques. Keywords
