Abstract
Discs cut from Jerusalem artichoke tubers stored at 20 °C produced considerably less invertase than discs cut from tubers stored at 4 °C. Gibberellic acid stimulated synthesis of invertase in tissue previously stored at 20 °C, restoring it to the level of cold-stored tubers. Keywords
