Two cases of spontaneous bulla formation on the feet of diabetics are descr. One case showed bilaterally symmetrical lesions and the other''s single lesion was preceded by pain in the back, both hips and legs. It is suggested that, in addition to arterial damage, another etiological factor, probably neurological, is responsible.
