Abstract
Levamisole is hydrolysed by both acids and alkalis. At 100 °C decomposition is at a minimum at pH 2, while at pH 8 the rate of decomposition is increased about 70-fold. From kinetic studies at pH 4 and 8 the stability of the drug at 25 and 37 °C has been predicted. Keywords
