Paarung mit Glucuronsäure und Bilirubinelimination am Beispiel der anikterischen Leberzirrhose

Abstract
Die Glucuronidsyntheseleistung ist bei der anikterischen Leberzirrhose im Vergleich zur Norm nicht eingeschränkt. Sowohl im Harn als auch im Blut fallen die Glucuronide nach oraler Belastung mit 2 g Menthol zeitgerecht und in normaler Menge an. Wie das Bilirubin werden also auch andere Glucuronsäurepaarlinge normal entgiftet. Diese Zusammenhänge haben praktische Bedeutung für eine ungestörte Elimination von Arzneimitteln, die als gepaarte Glucuronsäuren ausgeschieden werden. Glucuronide synthesis was found to be normal in cases of liver cirrhosis without jaundice. Urinary and blood glucuronide levels after oral administration of 2 g menthol was normal in timing and amount. This shows that in these cases substances other than bilirubin are normally detoxified by glucuronic acid and that there is undisturbed elimination of those drugs which are dealt with by glucuronic acid conjugation. La conjugación con ácido glucurónico y la eliminación de bilirubina en el caso de la cirrosis hepática anictérica La función de síntesis de glucurónidos no se halla disminuida en relación a lo normal en la cirrosis hepática anictérica. Los valores tanto sanguíneos como urinarios de glucurónidos, tras la sobrecarga oral con dos gramos de mentol, son completamente normales, tanto en cuanto a tiempo como cantidad. Otras sustancias a conjugar con ácido glucurónido son igualmente inactivadas de modo normal como la bilirubina. Estos hechos tienen trascendencia práctica en atención a la eliminación inalterada de los medicamentos que se excretan en forma conjugada con glucurónico.
