Attitudes of Long-Term Care Nursing Personnel Toward The Elderly

Abstract
Explored were the attitudes toward the elderly of nursing personnel employed in long-term care settings. Also investigated was the impact of an experiential education program on the attitudes of nursing personnel providing daily care for the aged. Results tend to contradict several of the popularly held beliefs concerning the attitudes of nursing personnel toward the elderly and education's potential role in altering these attitudes.
