Abstract
Twelve cores sampled in the siculo-tunisian area are studied with regard to sedimentology, grain-size, microfauna, mineralogy. Originality of sedimentation lies in : 1 — presence of fine and rapid, sometimes volcano-sedimentary deposits ; 2 — atlantic and mediterranean influence with Forami-nifera and Pteropods populations ; 3 — local feature of the pédologie working of clays, which give climatic informations on the Wurm and Postglacial stages, according to the data of fauna. Keywords
