Abstract
Dietary restriction of dams from mating until weaning of progeny, or during lactation alone, resulted in stunting of the offspring. Previous history of this type of dietary restriction failed to influence the growth of the offspring of a subsequent pregnancy during which the dams were not subjected to any dietary restriction. Keywords
