Abstract
The X-ray films of 18 patients suffering from fluorosis caused by drinking water were reviewed, and the various bone changes and degrees of changes discussed and illustrated. One case where the changes were found before all the epiphyses had fused is reviewed in detail, and also the late development of the typical bone and ligamentous changes described. Attention is drawn to the frequency of anemia and albuminuria, and to the interesting finding of vascular calcification in 5 of the 19 patients[long dash]a feature occurring in patients between 35 and 50 years of age. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
