Abstract
Canadian field peas were grown in various culture solutions, and fed to rats to test for the presence of vitamin E. Fertility resulted from the addition to the basic diet of 4 gm. daily of the entire fresh pea seedling. Evidently the vitamin can be synthesized by the plant from inorganic sources. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
