Abstract
A hydrophobic grid membrane filter (HGMF) method for aerobic plate count using Tryptic Soy Agar with fast green FCF was evaluated against a conventional pour plate method on 250 food samples, representing 25 product categories. The HGMF method yielded counts equivalent to or significantly higher than the pour plate method for 24 of the 25 product categories (t-test for paired data). This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
