Abstract
A method is presented for choosing the zero pattern of the z transform of a Huffman (impulse-equivalent) sequence so that the energy of the sequence is large for a given peak amplitude. The scheme applies to real and complex Huffman sequences. Illustrative examples are given and the ambiguity functions of the synthesized signals are shown. Keywords
