Abstract
Summary: Laparoscopic sterilization using a Hulka‐Clemens spring‐loaded clip has been evaluated. Application of the clip to the Fallopian tubes is easy and quick. It causes minimal discomfort and can be done under local anaesthesia. It therefore has a place in the field of population control. Only 3 mm. of Fallopian tube are altered by the clip and the chances of successful tubal reanastamosis or reimplantation is increased in the rare instance when required. Keywords
