Abstract
The enhancement of diffusion perpendicular to a strong magnetic field, induced by low-amplitude field fluctuations, is calculated. A novel fluid representation of a model Fokker-Planck transport equation is used to show the equivalence of the above problem to that of a passive scalar advected by a prescribed fluctuating velocity field. Keywords
