Abstract
SUMMARY: Novel transport coefficients (α-factors) are introduced in the flow terms of a compositional simulator to model the interaction between phase behaviour and reservoir heterogeneity within coarse grid blocks. They are successfully used to model both lean and rich gas injection in stochastically-generated, heterogeneous reservoir cross-sections.Keywords
