Abstract
A new technique is described for the detection of charged-particle tracks in glasses. The energy stored along the particle tracks is used to initiate heterogeneous nucleation of the second liquid phase. Track registration results are presented for uranium fission fragments using a sodium-silicate glass. Keywords
