Abstract
Rats in a shock-like state following release of tourniquets show a progressive increase in blood amino acid level and depletion of adrenal cholesterol content. Following admn. of a vol. of isotonic NaCl equivalent to 10% of the body wt., a decrease in the rise of blood amino acid and in the fall of adrenal cholesterol content was observed. Keywords
