Abstract
To the Editor: This is a short report of a serious, endemic polysystem disease. Its first mention was in the Danish literature (Anderson, H.C. The Emperor's New Clothes. From Hans Anderson's Fairy Tales. Translated by Mrs. E. Lucas. New York, Grosset and Dunlap, 1955 [original, Copenhagen, 1835]).In incidence, the Emperor's clothes syndrome (ECS) is truly an endemic disease, but is seen in almost epidemic form in cardiology and neurology departments.
