Abstract
A monolithically integrated, active 4*4 photonic crossbar switch has been fabricated by using rib waveguides with etched-facet T-branches and turning mirrors. Switching functionality, simultaneous routing of two digital FM video signals, and routing pseudorandom NRZ (nonreturn to zero) data were demonstrated. Keywords
