Abstract
Defect parameters are calculated for a wide range of defects in UO2. In addition to internal energies, entropies of formation have been calculated for some defects. Enthalpies are obtained for comparison with experimental data, where available. Defect processes studied include intrinsic defects, cation substitution, ion migration and defect clustering. Keywords
