Abstract
Normal structure of nail fold capillaries as observed by capillaroscopy and fluoroscopy is reported. A precedure of proximal nail fold biopsy is described. The technique is without disadvantage for patients. Tissue from the proximal nail fold was studied in 3 different ways: light microscopy with histochemistry, EM and direct immunofluorescence. In the 2 normal cases studied, usual epidermal and dermal components are found. Some particular points were observed.sbd.sweat droplets draining of the distal part of the proximal nail fold, numerous and large nervous structures, and capillaries basal lamina multiplication. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
