Abstract
"Fifty-six male and 56 female college students were tested with a series of questionnaires designed to measure similarity with parents" personalities, parent-cathexis, and self-cathexis. . . . The over-all results appear to confirm the clinical observation that identification with parents, feelings and attitudes to parents, and self-esteem all cohere as a syndrome. Keywords
