Abstract
Fluid-flow rate can be derived from the transit time of temperature fluctuations, which is determined from the cross-correlation of two temperature measurements. The accuracy is unaffected by the dynamics of the temperature measuring elements or the system heat losses. Experimental results confirm the usefulness of the method. Keywords
