Abstract
The Copenhagen Telephone Company [Denmark] uses 800,000-900,000 sets of no carbon required [NCR] paper per year. Since 1977 employees have experienced related itching, dermatitis and symptoms from contact with the paper. In 35 employees 4000 epicutaneous tests were performed with negative results. A questionnaire study of 2400 in the company revealed a close relationship between the symptoms and the work intensity with the NCR paper. Keywords
