Abstract
Patients (21) with mucoepidermoid-adenosquamous carcinoma (MEC/ASC) of the larynx and hypopharynx were collected and reviewed. The literature was reviewed and 32 previous cases noted. The overall 5 yr survival was 77% [treatment by surgery and radiotherapy], although low-grade mucoepidermoid carcinoma had a better survival than did adenosquamous-high-grade mucoepidermoid carcinoma. This publication has 23 references indexed in Scilit:
