Abstract
Catenaria spinosa sp. nov. parasitic in eggs of a Chironomus sp. was illustrated and described. This species is characterized by globose zoosporangia that lack discharge tubes, rounded resistant sporangia which bear numerous spines on their surfaces and zoospores that move by filose pseudopodia during a part of the life cycle. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
