Abstract

A case with a transdiaphragmatic duplication of the small intestine is reported. This was probably of neurenteric origin as it was attached superiorly to C₃, and inferiorly to the terminal ileum. Five other similar cases from the records of this hospital are discussed. A brief review of the literature and a discussion of the embryology of these anomalies is included.
