Abstract
Twelve previously unreported bands of nitrous oxide have been observed under high resolution. The results of the analyses of these bands are given. A precise value of ν2 is derived from a difference band and four constants in the quadratic vibrational energy expression are given. The role of Fermi resonance is discussed briefly. Keywords
