Abstract
An instrument using a resonator-terminated acoustic transmission line has been developed for absolute internal friction measurements in the 10 kHz-1 MHz range. It can be used for material studies at temperatures of up to 2000 degrees C and, in the form of a robust probe, for industrial monitoring. Keywords
