Abstract
The effect of amino acids on the sporulation time of Penicillium digitatum was studied. Glutamic and aspartic acids as sole nitrogen sources accelerated sporulation by 10–12 h. In the presence of a number of amino acids "microcycle sporulation" could also be observed. Tryptophane increased significantly the length of the conidial chain. Keywords
