Abstract
Allozyme variation in 32 presumptive gene loci was examined electrophoretically among representatives of the three extant anguid subfamilies Anguinae, Diploglossinae, and Gerrhonotinae, and the related family Anniellidae. This examination suggests sister group status for the Gerrhonotinae and Anguinae, with the sister group to these two being the Diploglossinae and the sister group to all three being the Anniellidae. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
