Abstract
The authors demonstrate for the first time broadband wavelength conversion with amplification by four-wave mixing in semiconductor travelling-wave optical amplifiers and verify the cubic dependence of wavelength conversion efficiency on the amplifier's single-pass optical gain.Keywords
