Abstract
A set of phase shifts corresponding to the elastic scattering of protons off of argon is extracted from 5 eV differential cross section data. The phase shifts are inverted to a numerical potential. A critical discussion of the results of other methods used to deduce the ArH+ internuclear potential is given. Keywords
