Abstract
The influence of HCG [human chorionic gonadotropin] on the response of LH [luteinizing hormone] to luteinizing hormone releasing hormone (LH-RH) was studied in gonadectomized women. HCG apparently inhibits secretion of LH from the pituitary gland by restriction of its release rather than by suppression of its synthesis. Keywords
