Abstract
Times of maximal involvement in mouse skin were determined for reactions produced by graded doses of X-irradiation combined with hyperthermic treatment at 37.5, 41, 42, 42.5 and 43.degree. C for 1 h. The times of maximal involvement in each case were independent of thermal treatment. Hyperthermic treatment may not modify the kinetics of epithelial proliferation or alter the progress of early radiation reactions during cancer treatment.
