Abstract
Pertinent literature on three topics pertaining to flexibility was reviewed: possible methods of measuring flexibility; relationships between flexibility and selected physical aspects; and studies of the structure of flexibility. Major onclusions derived from this review are that studies provide little evidence of a correlation of body build, age, and skill level with flexibility; and that the evidence indicates a high degree of specificity of flexibility in the human body. Keywords
