Homology of Closed Geodesics in Certain Riemannian Manifolds

Abstract
It is shown, by using the trace formula of Selberg type, that every primitive, one-dimensional homology class of a negatively curved compact locally symmetric space contains infinitely many prime closed geodesics.Keywords
