Abstract
A waveguide grating demultiplexer on InP which resolves 16 channels in the 1535–1565 nm wavelength range is reported. The channels are spaced by 1.8 nm with a 3 dB bandwidth of 1.1 nm. Crosstalk is better than 9 dB and polarisation sensitivity is only 0.48 nm, which is the lowest value achieved with this demultiplexing approach. Keywords
