Abstract
Patients (17) with hormone [estrogen] resistant prostatic cancer were treated with chemotherapeutic drugs [methotrexate, cyclophosphamide, 5-fluorouracil]. An overall response rate of 64% was obtained. The toxicity rate was 29%. The problems of defining response in prostatic cancer are discussed and a protocol for the future is outlined. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
