The effect of hydrostatic pressure on the temperature of the structural phase transition in crystalline C60 is investigated by differential thermal analysis in the pressure range of 1 bar to 5 kbar. The transition temperature increases linearly with pressure at a rate of 11.7 K/kbar. An upper limit of the relative change of the lattice parameter, obtained from the Clausius-Clapeyron equation, is Δa/a=2.5×10-3.Variable syntax
