Abstract
The effect of certain drugs upon simultaneous electrograms and myo-grams obtained from isolated intestinal transplants was noted. Epinephrine and atropine produced a cessation of the nryogram but not the electrogram. Eserine and ergotamine both increased the amplitude of the myo-gram. Nicotine caused a temporary cessation of both and diminished the rates. The other drugs did not greatly alter the rates. No drug altered the time relationship between the electrogram and myogram. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
