Abstract
Following a discussion of the concept of entropy of activation and methods for its calculation, it is shown that the energy of activation of the formation of nitrosyl chloride from nitric oxide and chlorine is temperature dependent and permits an evaluation of the entropy of activation. A critical analysis is made of previous work. Keywords
